The exclusive entrance leads you to the privacy and beauty of the independent! Great for readings, one person shows and small productions. The elevated stage and stadium seating ensure the actors can be seen from head to toe. At the same time, your audience is treated to the best theatrical environment in all of Off-Off B'way with our comfortable seats, fine lobby and marbled bathrooms. We currently offer twenty state of the art lamps and a superior (computer capable) lighting board with a capacity for two thousand light cues!

the independent! is available for weekly rentals that include seven nights, all day Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday after 4 PM.)

• The weekly fee is $2,000.00
• Half due when booking, half due before occupancy.
• Weekends, (Please call two weeks in advance of date requesting) includes Friday (After 4PM) Saturday & Sunday unlimited use, $1,000.00.(Subject to availability.)
• In order to maintain the independent! we are required to collect a security deposit. Full refunds are given within two weeks of closing, unless there is a violation of the rules or if damage occurs.
